Ephrata Fire Department Lifesaving Award

The Ephrata Fire Department will present the department’s Lifesaving Award to the employees of International Waterjet Parts, Inc. of Ephrata. Their efforts helped save the life of an Ephrata woman who was involved in a motor vehicle crash on Thursday, May 14, 2009.

What:
The Ephrata Fire Department Lifesaving Award is given to citizens who distinguish themselves by performing or reacting to a situation in a positive manner which saves, or reduces the risk of loss of life of another person; and, where a strong possibility existed that if such action wasn’t taken, loss of life or serious injury would have resulted.
Local media and the public are invited to attend.
