 August 7, 2009 - Commercial Structure Fire - 742 Basin St NW, Ephrata Firefighters from Ephrata and Fire Districts 3, 7 and 13 battled a fire at the Grant County Museum. The building which burned housed antique cars, including an old City of Warden fire engine. Loss estimated at up to $1M. Top photo shows fire conditions on arrival of the first due units.  June 20, 2009 - Commercial Structure Fire - 524 S. Columbia St., Wenatchee Wenatchee Asst. Chief Gary Babst and EFD Battn. Chief Kyle Foreman watch Ladder 2195 pour water into the former Stemilt Warehouse. The fire caused over $2-million in damage and required efforts by 80 firefighters from nine departments.
 June 5, 2009 — Residential Structure Fire — 446 7th Ave SE, Ephrata Lt. Mike Stussy and Capt. Billy Smith investigate a house fire suspected to have been caused by lightning.

 May 8, 2009 — Head-on Motor Vehicle Crash — SR282, ¼ mile south of Nat Washington Way, Ephrata Ephrata FD Lieutenant Mike Stussy (right) and members of Grant County Fire District 13 prepare to rescue one of four victims of a two-car head-on crash.
 February 7, 2009 - Residential Structure Fire - 2201 Basin St SW #22, Ephrata L-R: Lt. Mike Stussy, Capt. Billy Smith, and Firefighters Chelsey Key and Jeff Nelson conduct initial attack operations on a room and contents fire in a manufactured home. The fire was contained and damage limited to the room of origin.
 November 1, 2008 - Motor Vehicle Crash with Entrapment - 1750 Basin St SW Ephrata Firefighters work to rescue the driver of a vehicle who was ejected and became trapped underneath the sport utility vehicle. The driver sustained critical injuries.
 October 13, 2008 — Vehicle vs. Pedestrian and Building — 1070 Basin St SW, Ephrata Ephrata Firefighters and FD 5 ambulance members treat an elderly female who was seriously injured after being struck by a vehicle and then pinned between the car and a building. January 15, 2008 - Residential Structure Fire - Braeburn Dr. (District 7) Firefighters from Ephrata and Districts 7 & 13 fought this early morning house fire. An elderly female was killed. The fire was caused by a heat lamp. There were no working smoke alarms inside the home.

July 13, 2007 - Barn Fire - 11000 block of Rd F-NW, rural Ephrata Ephrata Firefighter Stephen Gerrer renders care to a lamb injured during a fire which destroyed a barn and several sheep.

June 19, 2007 - Vehicle Fire - 36 F St SW, Ephrata Firefighters extinguish a passenger compartment fire. The vehicle was a total loss.

December 23, 2006 - Vehicle Fire - Bell Rd at Canal St, Ephrata Firefighters extinguish an engine compartment fire in one of the City's snowplow/sand trucks.

November 11, 2006 - Live Fire Training - Division Ave W & D St-SW Firefighters from Ephrata, Soap Lake, and Fire Districts 3, 7 and 13 participate in a training exercise at the site of the former Grant County Fire Marshal's Office.
November 6, 2006 - Residential Structure Fire - 206 H St-NE, Ephrata Capt. Kevin Davis and Firefighters Jordan Cox and James Lewis on Engine 2111 conduct initial attack at a fully involved garage fire which extended into the attic. September 18, 2006 - Commercial Structure Fire - 1732 Basin St SW 65 firefighters from Ephrata and Fire Districts 3, 5 , 7 and 13 battle a fire at Renaissance Technology, a fabricating business. The building and contents were a estimated loss of $1-million.




September 15, 2006 - Structure Fire - 11 Elm St, Soap Lake Ephrata and Soap Lake Firefighters overhaul a fire involving a pickup camper and a workshop/shed.

September 11, 2006: Motorcycle vs. Truck Crash 1300 Block of Basin St SW Ephrata Firefighters treat an adult male motorcyclist after he collided with a pickup truck and was thrown 30 feet to the pavement.

July 25, 2006: Live Fire Training Station 21 Ephrata Firefighters approach a propane fire simulator while training.

July 8, 2006: Motorcycle Crash End of Division Ave East at the Port of Ephrata An adult male motorcyclist is treated by Ephrata Firefighters and Grant County Fire District 5 EMS personnel after he failed to stop at the end of Division Ave East, struck a curb, and flew over 250 feet into the Port's parking lot.

June 28, 2006: 5,000 Acre Wildland Fire - SR 17, 7 miles east of Ephrata 60 Firefighters from 5 different departments battled this wildland fire for over 13 hours. This fire destroyed a mobile home and threatened several others on Road B.5 NE. This fire was caused by an illegal burn barrel.

February 21, 2006 - Funeral for Jaime (Krausse) Campbell Local Army Black Hawk Pilot Killed in Iraq Ephrata Firefighters prepare the American Flag to fly over her burial site at the Ephrata Cemetary

October 25, 2005: Assist Law Enforcement - Drug Bust Ephrata Raceway Park Pictured below: Firefighter Darin St. Clair, Capt. Billy Smith & Safety Officer Scott Cook man hoselines to diffuse a large cloud of gas from a vented anhydrous ammonia tank. Interagency Narcotics Enforcment Team (INET) members are seen in the white hazmat suits in the center of the picture. Anhydrous ammonia is used in the production of methamphetamine.

October 13, 2005: 1-vehicle Motor Vehicle Crash - Rollover 200 block of G St SE, Ephrata Minor injury, 1 patient. Occurred when driver reached down to adjust the stereo and struck a parked truck. Firefighters Brent Haley, Kevin Hill and Safety Officer Scott Cook shown disconnecting the battery of the wrecked vehicle.

October 8, 2005: Live Fire Training Exercise - Vacant House 645 Basin St SW, Ephrata Joint training exercise with Grant County Fire District 13 Multiple interior training evolutions were conducted before the building was allowed to burn to the ground. Exposures on Sides Alpha & Delta were protected.

February 18, 2005: 2 vehicle motor vehicle crash Division Ave West & Alder St NW, Ephrata. 1 patient received minor injuries

November 26, 2004: Commercial Structure Fire - Tumwata Lodge in Soap Lake. Mutual Aid given to City of Soap Lake. Units from Ephrata, Soap Lake, Grant County FD 7 & 13 fought the blaze.

April 24, 2004: Commercial Structure Fire - Grain Elevator. Mutual Aid given to Almira, Lincoln County. Ephrata Ladder 2195 aiming a master stream into the headhouse. Units from Almira, Ephrata, Hartline, Wilbur & Odessa fought the blaze.
