Citizen of Good Standing/Local Background Check

On occasional there is a need for a local background check letter from law enforcement agency where you have lived to denote that you are a citizen in good standing. These letters are usually used in immigration applications. 

The Ephrata Police Department can issue this letter within 5 business days of the request. You must provide your full name, date of birth, and phone number. If the local check shows you are a citizen in good standing, your letter will be released to you on presentation of your photo identification. This can be a driver's license from any state, passport, or any other document that has your full name, date of birth, and a photo.
